Greetings in the name of our wonderful Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

Harvest Fellowship of Churches (HFC), an Evangelical Anabaptist (non-denominational) organization, was conceived in the heart of God and birthed out of the heart of leaders primarily located in the New England region. While discussions began over ten years ago to consider a regional fellowship of churches, the current organization was developed during a one-year period from late 2001 into 2002.

As leaders, we have a deep desire to walk in obedience to God and His Word.

These are tremendous days of challenge. There are many spiritual needs in America, both within the church and outside the church. As we look at the world outside of North America, many areas are experiencing unprecedented turning to Christ. This presents a great challenge for discipleship and leadership training. On the other hand, over 1.2 billion people in the world have never heard the name of Jesus one time. Even in North America, a large percentage of individuals have no personal relationship with Jesus Christ and are uncommitted to a local life-giving congregation. How will we respond to these challenges?

We want to hear God and obey. We want to stay in step with the Holy Spirit. There must be constant alertness to Satan’s efforts that seek to distract, deceive, and discourage the present day ministry of Jesus Christ from being carried out. However, we know that “Greater is He that is in us than He that is in the world.” Jesus Christ set an example for us of complete humility and commitment to do the Father’s will. Our commitment is to do no less.

In order to establish a solid foundation for preparation and work in the harvest, it’s urgent that believers and leaders be trained and equipped in order to demonstrate solid Christian character in the home, the work place and the church. Through multiplication of disciples, leaders, and congregations, we will hasten the advancement of God’s Kingdom. While Harvest Fellowship of Churches had its beginnings in New England, we firmly believe that the field is the world. We desire to be obedient to the Great Commission, "Go ...make disciples..." (Matthew 28:19-20). Through prayerful discernment, building of relationships, and strategic planning, we desire to reach the world with the glorious message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

Common beliefs and values are important to any organization. Under the “Documents” menu you find the HFC Constitution and Bylaws which serves as our legal document and explains how we function. HFC is blessed by many cultures and worship practices but we have a common goal to exalt and proclaim our resurrected Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

Serving in the resurrected power of Jesus,

Henry Buckwalter, Overseer/Bishop
